DRAG RADIALS, STILL NEED HELP!?

It's between NITTO's and BFG's. These will be 99% STREET, not driven in the rain unless caught in it. The car is an automatic and will have a 10" 3800 rpm stall converter with the ability to lock right after the 1-2 shift at WOT.
The car is driven about 7 months of the year and these tires, 315/35-17's will need to last 7500-8000 miles.
I need to know about the info I posted above and how the tires act in general street driving. Country roads, bumps, pot holes, braking, any info you can give me that would make one tire the obvious choice. It seems the BFG's are the ones to stick without being warmed as warming will most often not be possible. NITTO's seem to be the longer lasting but the 7500-8000 is fine. So 3800rpm launching on tires not warmed more than the driving that they already would have in a given situation. Not likely to be in the rain but must last the summer-7 months @ 8000 miles. Guys that have/are using either and can offer opinions please do. If there is a reason you would not buy one of these again let me know why. You guys get the idea, I need some serious help! mark

Yeah that's what I mostly hear, NITTO's! Then I hear they need to be heated to really stick. That is not good. Then I hear the BFG's will not last long at all, not good but they stick like glue. I will have to hope the wide NITTO's make a difference. Anyone else? Thanks guys, mark

Since you say that its 99% street it shouldn't matter that you have to heat them up to get them to hook, cause thats only at the track. From what i have heard and seen nitto's hook up better on the street than almost any drag radial but they suck at the track. So go with nitto's

i used to run the nittos and they hook good on the street and good enough at the track. you will like them a lot if you are mostly going to be on the street
