NEWB help
im sounding like a newb cause i am for this kind of car. i would like a straight list of N/A parts that will let me hit 300-350whp. Nitrous is an option but i would like to save it as an add on to the list after i hit my power goal. Now the big hitch is the almighty dollar. I would like to keep the $$$ to 4k so i have a nice chunk left over from my deployment cash. any help would be great...thank you

go to Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle
It's your friend. Also just simply google performance upgrade's if you're looking for specifics. There's tons of write ups and mod lists out there.

if your looking for that power, supercharger is the best option, plus youll mkae more power, and be more fun to drive. yeah the initial investment of 4-5k is pricey, but when you add up the parts to make less power n/a it will come out to be pretty close. heads are going to run around 2000, cams around 600, plus all fo the other little bolts ons, and what about installation if you cant do it yourself.
n/a is fun, but a supercharger for just a little bit more money, will give you a much faster and more fun car to drive.

I'm not going to lie. If I could do it all over again I would have saved up the money and gotten a supercharger but i'm still happy with my laughing gas.

if you're going to do heads, why not wait until the trickflow heads are available? From what I've read, the major limiting factor of our motor is the heads, and the trickflows will fix that, and they're gonna be priced to be competitive. just my $.02

I'd second that. If you want to stay NA, wait for those TFS heads. I heard they are supposed to be out in spring?

all your real power is goin to come from the inside of your motor, bolt ons just accent, if i did it over again and knew what i was doing when i started i would have saved up for a new rotating assembly, then cams, heads, then start working on the outside of the motor, you see the biggest gains from those and gears.

The easiest and most economical way to make horsepower with a 4.6 is a supercharger.
