Sorry if you feel as if I am asking a ton of questions. I just want a better understanding of how your product is superior to your competitors.
If you don't mind I have a few more questions. I understand the issues with flow and turbulence thru a MAF. But from my understanding the actual problem with the 05+ Mustangs is not with the MAF, but the correlation of the MAF and the TPS. The computer gets confused when it sees the extra air flowing threw the MAF but the TPS value is lower than what the computer thinks should be correct. Is there any truth to this?

when will this intake gonna be available cuz im looking for an intake for my 2010. i was thinking of getting the C&L no tune intake but this one looks like it has a better design.

Hello C MY 4D,

It's no problem at all. Ask all the questions you would like

You will not see any issues like this when using a properly calibrated intake system. If the Intake system is not properly calibrated then you could run into an issue with the MAF frequency not matching expected TPS voltage.

A correctly calibrated MAF will read the higher air volume in the appropriate frequency and there will be no discrepancy between MAF frequency and TPS voltage.

Would Airaid be interested in running their intake on a built all motor car, or will you be planning to do that anytime soon?

Pretty much still looking at the numbers at 100mm MAF. Or if you are willing to publish my car with the power numbers If I decide to go all motor, or if you would be interested in the data at all?

I have not heard of anything in the works about testing the system on a "Built" car. There are a ton of different combinations that could be considered a "Built" car.

Do you currently have an AIRAID on your car now, or are you looking into purchasing one?

Hello 2010_LS1H8R,

We will not be offering a Spacer for the 2010 models. The Spacer will physically fit, however it does not allow for the beauty cover to be re installed.

The Spacer can be beneficial on certain applications depending on what type of gains you are looking to see.

If your expectations are increased 0-60 or 1/4 mile times, you will be disappointed as the Spacer is not designed to offer that.

The Spacer is more for the driver who is looking to drive conservative and who wants some increased throttle response and gains in MPG.

I'm looking forward to getting one these CAI's for my 2010 GT early in the new year. I had a Airaid on my 2006 before going F/I. I sold it to a friend that has it on his 2007 GT. Great product and first rate customer service!!

I just got off the phone with a friend of mine that manages a local speed shop and they had a Airaid for my 2010 in stock. So I just bought it and will pick it up later this week.

To bad I won't be able to try it out until April.
