Im sorry but i think bmw's reliability has gone way down as well as the quality.. My buddies 540i is falling apart literally and he takes great care of that car.. My other buddies 335i brakes all the damn time theres always something goin wrong it might not be a big problem but not a month goes by to ware that thing doesnt visit the dealership.. Im in no way dissing them one of my favorite cars is the m5 m6 and b7 alpinea.. but they need to step there game up with quality..

i have to agree with gray, theyre reliability is garbage. they have a crap load of electrical problems. my dads 745 alarm kept going off randomly for like 2 months and they couldnt figure out why...so his battery would always crap out...window problems, brake problems, and a few other things. i just dont hear it from him either, its all over other forums...i was looking to get a 335i until i started to hear some of the problems they were having. i mean fords are known for their reliability but i havent had any problems with mine so im good.
