they run like mid-high 12's...i think they put like 370-380 to the wheels.

Yeah, they are much faster than most think a BMW would be.

GRM did a comparison of the new M3, 335i, and 135i a few issues ago, and it included dyno charts for each.

I don't have 'em handy, but 380hp sounds about right for what the M3 put down to the wheels (though for torque, the 335i put down 20-30lbs more throughout the entire rpm range, IIRC).

I've seen one in person at an autocross, those cars are more than the sum of their numbers, that's for certain! I'd love to put that drivetrain in something a little more spartan.

The M3s are nice but they are already pushing the limits. Worry bout the 135/335s, those thing are pretty good stock, get a plug and play tune and the break 400 hp and tq

You know BMW build a few lines exclusively in South Carolina right, even the euro models.

Maybe the 400 I saw was crank number but they can still get pretty close to 400 and have linear torque like Termi. The JB2 is the 2nd of 3 stages, he can get more power with a better tune. Heres some examples

Yea he can but that is the safest level he doesnt feel like blowing it up like people have been doing some of the other software upgrades.. The jb 3 is new and not alot of people have run it very long and not alot of people trust it..

I didnt know that, I heard BMW dropped Dinan from it warranty cuz so many people were having problems. Those cars have alot of potential though, have you seen the size of the turbos they use?

In America? BMW is the pinnacle of craftsmanship, IMO. They can take a beating day in and day out and not have any issues. They may not be the cheapest cars out there, but you get what you pay for. I say keep your money in something thats reliable and fun to drive.
