I still have a ton of NOS 65-66 Ford Galaxie parts. Anything you happen to be looking for just look me up.

I had a 1966 Fairlane 500 one time. Cool ass old car. To answer your question, you can get by with the larger of the two carburetors.

Just leave the 2bbl for now. You aren't going to notice any drastic horsepower increase.

Unless you're turning some rediculous rpm, the 670 should be more than enough carb for that motor.

Off topic.......do you have any pictures of the car? I used to have a 66 Galaxie 500 a few years ago. I like those cars.

go with the smaller carb my 351 works well with my 650cfm carb i got a 67 fairlane if you plan to put a bigger cam (higher rpm range) change your converter and rear gears to match go with a edelbrock performer rpm maybe even a torquer but if you are stayin with the stock cam and such say idle to 5500 or so go with a edelbrock performer or something silmilar a dual plane low rise.....and yes 1slo5.0 you will notice a good increase in power
