The Mustang has always been marketed as an afordable 'Fun" car that had many options so it could be matched to its driver. If you wanted a a cheap Mustang u got the base model. If u wanted fast fast fast you could go Shelby Super Snake. Hell you could have gotten a Mclaren Mustang in 1980. The Mustang has always been about getting a car to fit 'who you are' for your budget.

Although it might be your opinion that the new Camaros are junk and screwed up but opinions don't matter, facts do and the facts are that the new Camaro was selling like hot cakes before the first one even hit a show room floor. A friend of mine works for a GM dealership. He ordered a new Camaro SS and just got it thursday. They can't keep them on the show room floor. The cars are sold before they even show up. Obviously there are alot of people out there that don't think they are screwed up junk. For the record, it wasn't just 2000 that the Camaro was faster than the Mustang. 93-02 the Camaro killed the Mustang. Quite honestly the Camaro from 82-92 had the Mustang in a choke hold.

I take magazine articles with a grain of salt. Keep in mind these same magazines road tested the fox body Mustangs and they ran low 15s.......

all right guys...let me explain to you what Chevy did with this Camaro.
Every redneck needs a Chevy truck and a Camaro. However, the economy is in trouble and rednecks can no longer afford 2 cars, so Chevy combined the Camaro and a truck so rednecks only need 1 car to worry about. And if you look at how much hp the Mustang has vs the Camaro, you'll realize the Camaro in no way is a better car. The 2010 V6 Camaro is "neck and neck with a 2003 GT"...well I would hope it would do a lot better than that with an extra 40hp. This Camaro fails all-around. Looks, stats, and eventually sales.

The New Camaro's are junk. look at all the problems they are having with them right off the assembly line.
1) RECALL in first month of production for battery wire going to starter (a couple even caught fire with 40 miles on the clock) 2) front end is cracking at high speeds 3) door handles are breaking 4)cars can't ship to owners until computer get a reprogram. and if you look around on the Camaro forums there's more than that. Also I have yet to see a stock one even get close to running the advertised 13.0 times best I've seen is 13.5 for the Manuals and 13.8 for the AUTO's They even had a V6 running at our local track last weekend and his best run was 14.8 I had a 91 Camaro and that was the biggest piece of shit I ever bought, and from reading on the Camaro forums it don't look like nothing changed with Chevy.
