driving today in my 2000 f150 and the tranny felt like it was slipping....pulled into a park and ride and later on i tried driving it again....gave it some gas and it finally kicked in and the driveshaft snapped......do u guys think its a mixure of tranny and driveshaft or could it just have been a shitty driveshaft?

Are you sure it wasn't the U-joint that broke? I've broken U-joints before and dropped the drive shaft but never the drive shaft itself. I once broke the U-joints to the rear wheels on a 4x4. I disconnected the drive shaft completely and threw it in the bed of the truck. I then put it in 4-wheel drive and drove to work and later home using the front two wheels.
