Some advice please guys...

Hey, friend of mine has a VW Bug (Haha she loves it) and she just got it back from the shop. Big suprise its' worse now, haha.

Anyway, it seems to be sticking in gear, also when you let off the gas it idles real high, does it before you accel sometimes too. Everything else is fine.

I'm thinking IAC or Vaccum Hose. I'm gonna look when I find time,

Think thats where I should start? Sometimes it calms down when you let off the gas sometimes it doesnt which makes me think IAC or Vac.

Any ideas?

Yeah, I looked at that too as an option, hoping that isnt the problem, it looks like it could be a vac issue. I'll keep the +1 on the tranny in mind, thanks.

is it one of the new ones? cause i think (not sure) but i think that on all newer cars they can just run a diagnostics test on just the tranny computer
