Question about Lincoln Town CarI have a 1990 Lincoln Town Car. It's been sitting around for a while and needs a couple of things before its ready to haul ass. First: The Passenger side front window won't stay up. It gradually slips down.. does anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong with it? It slips slowly, but with the cold winters here, tape just doesn't work as well. Would the motor be fried? or the regulator? maybe a gear stripped? Im thinking the tranny might be slipping.. you have to keep your foot on the gas all the time, or if you just get on it all of a sudden, it revs like its in netural.. Also, since its a 5.0 what parts would i be able to buy for it that would work? Thanks for the help

Re: Question about Lincoln Town Car
Its not a regulator problem... That would mean when you let go of the switch the motor is always energized..Its gotta be something else.. The motor does not hold the window up... Prob a gear or something like you said but is not the motor or regulator for sure.. I will eat a cat turd if it is..
