Lincoln LS

Done some searching but still cant find the answer

my buddy has a lincoln LS the v6
anyway, does anyone know what kinda of rear end it has?
and if there are gears availible for this car

i would geuss a 7.5 since its a 6 and i think that because ford seems to like to use the same parts in as many cars as it can, take my grand marquis for example, it has the same engine, auto, and rear as a stang gt of the same year would have

From what I can tell, it's the same rear end that's under the last gen t-brids. That's all I could find out when I looked, the LS owners club is pretty light on technical details.
