2003 Lincoln Town Car brake light comes on?

If I slam on the breaks of my 03 Lincoln Towncar really hard the brake light comes on that also lights when you pull the E brake. What is the cause? Is this normal?

When I floor it the fan belts squiel when it shifts if its to the floor. Also squeels when shifting to over drive floored at 80...

its normal to come on when the E brake is on, but not for slamming the brakes. Check your brake fluid. Is the ABS kicking on when you hit the brakes really hard? maybe it flashes like the TCS light when the wheels start spinning.

It comes on for a few seconds when I slam on them really hard but doesnt blink.
