2002 Firebird v6

Friend at school has a 2002 Firebird v6 3800.(3.8) He claims it has 270hp (LOL) I looked it up and it has 220hp, but alot less at the wheels. Well my question is, are these cars any good ? I know its a v6, and mine is too.

they run well, and is a pretty equal car to the v6 mustang. i have had both and liked both, but as far as strait line performance (equal mods), they are pretty much the same.

I would like to think that i know how to mod alot more effiecntly then him, being he is going to try and buy a used supercharget for 600 bucks and thinks a k&n air intake will give him 30 hp

I had a 2000 Firebird when I was in high school. They're nice cars but I think our V6s are a little better. Don't get me wrong, they have some power and it's pretty close to ours but when I drive my Mustang, I just feel like there's more power there than when I used to drive my Firebird.

So he's a ricer with a muscle car? Don't worry, in a few months he'll trade it off for a Honda when his filter, underbody lights, and oversized spoiler don't add an extra 100hp
