EGR Valve Question

Does anybody know how easy or how hard it would be to replace a EGR Valve on a 96 Mercury Mystique GS. I think it would be fairly easy but just didn't know if anybody ever has done it on a similar vehicle.

Its should be really easy. It only calls for .3 to replace it.

yeah that's what i was thinking, it's my girls car and she was just wondering so i thought i'd ask a few people before i told her i'd do it

Never messed with one on those cars but usually thats a 5 sec job on most cars - go for it!

I did, but it wasn't a 5 seconid job, they decided to hide the EGR valve under a lot of stiff piping and it was hard to get to the copper pipe that connects to the valve.
