Alarm for an Explorer.
Hey, I have never been real big into alarms as all my money has been under the hood instead of in the dash. I have an 06 Explorer and looking for a nice alarm that will do everything the factory on does ( lock and unlock ) and will keep the running lights that come on when the vehicle is unlocked. Is this just the standard kit from Viper ( or who ever ) or do I need something special to get it to work with everything?
Thanks.

standard on viper. those running lights are tied into the GEM or whatever its called on the newer models. once the doors lock the system still sees a 12 volt reading then after a few seconds it goes into "sleep" mode and trickles down the power to 0 cutting off all power to the running lamps and interior lights.
