Rebuilding a 1971 Chevy Nova SS
there is a 1971 Chevy Nova SuperSport for sale.. it's just the body (pretty much everything but engine, tranny and wheels..).. its got a perfect body, full body roll cage (it was a race car), and in good shape.. well, he's selling it for $1200
i found a 383 powerstroker and a tranny for $600.. and the a set of tires and wheels (brand new... i forgot the name but they are very good) for $500... i plan on repainting it black and putting some racing stripes... that will be around $400.. all labour is done by me so no charges there so thats about $3000 (i added $300 for some lee-way)... i plan on taking it (in a month.. april 17th) to a huge car show called "RodRun" and pricing it for $7500... people buy like crazy at that show... do you think its worth the investment?
