Well, I can say that I know my car weighs between 2100 and 2200lbs without me in it, and that a CRX is most certainly lighter than my car.

Doing a little more research, USDM CRXs weighed thusly:

'84-87
-DX.....1819 lbs
-HF......1713 lbs

'85
-Si.....1890 lbs

'86-87
-Si.....1953 lbs

I do get a chuckle on dual exhaust on n/a crx and cavys. (all the kids that work at mcdonalds) Even if you were running 16psi on a 4cyl would you need dual exhaust?

I always get a chuckle out of looking under newer V6 accords... that dual exhaust? It's just a sideways muffler with outlets on both sides, and a single inlet on one of them. More weight, *and* less flow.... awesome!

i think thats a little bit inaccurate.. correct me if im wrong, but arent all corollas 4 doors? shelby cobras only weigh in at around 2100-2200 lbs so i highly doubt a corolla is anywhere near that light :p

lol i hope that was a typo
the GT-500 is just a tad under 4,000lbs

I'm a loan officer for a credit union and our underwriting department pwnt someone trying to buy a '96 nisson 240sx 4 banger with a big ole fart can on the back of it for 13k. Denied. Here's a quote: "I don't care if the car was in The Fast and the Furious, I still wouldn't be interested."
