Just a guess. I looked at a dual electric fan unit and figured it in around that much. Idk though. I may eventually do it to gain that extra 10 hp from the mechanical fan.

It may not literally blow up, but now that you can only get that motor used. I wouldn't trust it. You dont know what any previous owners did to it and what shape the motor is really in. Me personally I'd rather rock the 7.3. It has much better reliability then any of the other diesels ford has offered.

Yea but it's not TOO much worse than the newer GM trucks.

If you're buying new, wait for the 2011 F150's to come out. That 5.0 or even that EcoBoost twin turbo V6 will be nice.

I've averaged anywhere from 12 mpg flooring it at every stop light in the city to 16.5 on the hwy, flooring it at every stop sign/light.

I'm sure if I kept out of it, I'd see a good bit better economy.
They get better than the Dodge's so I'm happy. lol

the sierra i drove was doing fairly decent. i drove it around for a while and averaged about 17 (has the mds on it). my dakota get 16cty/21hwy. my brother-n-law's old hemi was only getting 16, but have seen the newer dodges get 19+ out of the new hemi. i dont want to do a ford, i dont know of anything i liked about any of the ones i have ever driven.

Wait for the 2011's and test drive one. Those new powertrains seem to be awfully impressive.
