I could have gotten that. But went with a mustang because of the way they look. No my qeustion is which is faster/More reliable?

Who knows. 03 Eclipses aren't DSMs and didn't suffer from the problems DSM's did. Reliability in used cars is 99% how well the previous owner took care of it.

Considering that 3rd gen eclipses are Chrysler Sebrings with different body panels, I'd say the mustang is about 10,000x more reliable, provided it was taken care of properly.

Ever since eclipses traded turbo/awd for a v6, I don't even give 'em a second look.

I owned a eclipse and there nothing special so the mustang is a way good choice :award

i agree with rever, the old ecliipsise and eagle talons were nice and could go pretty damb fast (top speed and with turbo and awd) but the new ones are not what i would call good
