need a muffler for my f150

im on a f150 forum but i know i can get better answers here lol. so apparently someone did a hell of a hack job on the exhaust on my truck before i owned it. this caused the pipes to rust and break off right at the muffler. of course there is only one hanger holding the muffler up and it goes on the small section of pipe comming off of the muffler that fell off lol.

so now i need a new muffler. i am not running pipes so i dont care about a whole kit. i just want the loudest deepest soundi can get out of 1 muffler. its a 03 with the 5.4 in it.

Borla XR-1 model # 40943

Before I got rid of my truck, I was looking at purchasing one of them.

If that doesn't suit your fancy, try an Aero Turbine 30/30. They're hard to find in stock though.

Borla XR-1

I run a Borla ProXS turbo muffler on my Titan, it's not very loud though, we'll see what happen's when LT's go on and cats come off.

I purchased my 2000 Ford F150 a little over a month ago and i'm looking to improve upon it's current status. It seems that most F150's have Flowmaster exhaust systems/mufflers and some people take off the cats and muffler. I was thinking about cutting the exhaust up to the catalytic converter and wielding a pipe to make a deeper tone. Any thoughts on what i should do?
