So i was doing some work on the miata today and i was changing the spark plugs and i discovered why i was having issues with starting and idle. this is the #1 spark plug that i pulled out after much exhausted effort.

Well damn, that could be a problem, lol. You sure you didnt crack it when you were pulling the plug? If you didnt then that would def cause u issues. Hows it run with the new plugs compared to the old?

hows it run...it doesn't. i cant get the new plug in. it threads half way down and stops. so the threads on the block are jacked up now so i need to re-thread it.

its quite possible. i had to soak the plug with liquid wrench then turn the car over with 3 good plugs to let it warm up. then add more liquid wrench because the first batch didnt work then i painfully drove it about a mile then if finally came loose. then i put in the new plug and it only went in half way then i pulled it out. tried again with a different plug. that didnt work, then got a right to autozone to get a rethreader and new plug. hopefully now it fucking works.

im sooo selling this car im sick of fucking with it every damn day.

I went through all this with a WRX and its why I ended up getting a S197..... When you are at this level with a small four cylinder the little things are what get you...

COCK SUCKING MOTHER FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!! it runs and drives on 3 good plugs and one bad plug, but its all fucked up and wont run at all on 4 good plugs. im fucking sick of this. i started working on this car at 9am its 4pm now and its still fucked up. i should have never bought this car.

I know the feeling bro, my GST would give me a new problem every week, and if I couldnt solve that problem within a week, I would run into a new one the next week and be stuck with two problems. Thus I got the GT and now im car-problems free

btw if you want something fun to do. go to autozone or advance auto and ask them for one spark plug. the guy that helped me looked at me like i was insane. he replied with "you said one spark plug right? why do you need just one?"
