New Car/New dyno numbers

So I sold my SS Camaro and went to a 06 Auto GTO. One of many reasons wanting a calmer quieter car and something newer with a warranty. I considered some s197s and test drove a few but favored the GTO more for practicality and it was just much more comfortable. Anyhow I threw it on the rollers Friday to see what it makes bone stock and ended up putting down 336HP and 337Ft Tq. Well time to mod it some now, dont beat me up to bad either I know everyone hates the old slow heavy GTO's.

I actually have always had a soft spot for those GTO's. The LS2 platform is a great starting point. A H/C/I LS2 with a full exhaust + stalled and geared = sex. Definitely a nice step up and should be lots of fun. Good luck. What your plans for the future?

Thanks guys I love the thing lol!
My plans are pedders/lovells suspension (shocks, already got springs, bushings and struts) Longtubes, after the warranty is void next year I'm planning on a FTI stall. I'll see how far this ls2 will go without going interal on it.

Sounds like a decent plan. You can get some great numbers out of the LS2 definitely. Once you have your longtubes, midpipe, exhaust, and air intake; with a tune puts down pretty nice numbers. With a nice H/C/I setup it will be a beast easily capable of over 500WHP and driveability. But I'm sure you already know all this coming from an LS1 Camaro. Either way have fun!
