What iv been looking at is a single blade throttle body and plenium setup.

Think its worth it over the dual?

throttle body and plenum will show some decent gains. Pretty sure Dragon has a large plenum and throttle body kit for the lightnings. Be sure to watch your intersooler coolant pump. they tend to go out onthe lightnings, resulting in teh intercooler to over heat and crack. A buddy and I just had fun diagnosing that problem. Could look into an upgraded intercooler from LFP. Even a larger Heat exchanger, also from LFP.

There's a guy on AZLOC (Arizona Lightning Owner's Club) forum who is selling a ton of stuff including throttle body and plenum.

My Lightning had just intake, headers, tune, and exhaust and was quick enough for me.

look at upgrading the heat exchanger. you have headers?

What about your pcv system. Is it the factory lightning? If so ditch it and get a catch can. The PCV valves on lightnings are made to stay open all of the time. So when you get on it and let off, the blower creates soo much vacuum, it literally sucks oil from the valve covers straight into the plenum.

True this is a very common mod for Lightnings. And I also had a fluidyne heat exchanger.

plenums are bad on them things, if not a C&L then atleast get a ported one. the t/b upgrade is a good thing to do, but something that should be done once you start to up the boost. a seperator is a good thing to do, metco idler relocator helps with slippage, tuner, and cai.

other things about the lightnings/HD's, cobra rotors are usually opted for if flaking starts, or a magnum powers blower if you want a better blower but dont want to fork out the coin for whipple or kenne.

dont buy the small bs. just get a 6lb lower pulley and be done. then the bolt ons will help, like the c&l plenum and accufab SBTB.
