The Great Snowpression

So we got some major snow again. We had a first white christmas since 1989 and now only a little over 2 weeks later we are getting another record snow in Alabama!! As of 2am 1-10-2011 we have 8-9" of snow on the ground and its still coming down. they are saying possible up to another 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow! I only snapped a couple pictures real quick, but I will get tons more tomorrow. I'm going to have fun scrapping it all off the ranger lol.

shit it started snowing here in Jc, MO today around 1pm and we are just now at 2.6" of snow there expectin another 3 - 4" locally not much but for area Thats a pretty good amount as it usually just goes around us!

Thats just awesome. Last winter we got 3ft dumped on us in a 5 day period. Jersey we usually get one storm up to 1ft max, last year we had three large storms, 1 ft, 2ft, and then the 3ft. God i hate climate change

I'm in PA and we are about to get hit with yet another storm. Around 9 inches estimated at the moment. I'm hating the winter, I really am. It's been snowing off and on every other day.

I just want to be able to go out and drive. :/

Musty' hates the snow and cold.

Yessir. Hankook V4 245/45/17s on the front (at about 20%) and Yokohama AS530 255/45/17s on the rear (closer to 60% tread). The Yoko's actually have done a pretty good job at gripping, but we're talking about the same snow storm that caused this:

I was feelin' like Vaughn Gittin Jr. around Greeley. I guess the city found plowing streets other than 8th Ave, 23rd Ave, and HWY 34 to be completely optional. 16th street was BAD. However, with the storm we got the other day, my Yoko's have done a great job and I haven't even slipped once. I'll have the Jeep done by the 25th so the Mustang will go back into hibernation then! Thank God.

However, I must say the King Sooper's parking lot off of 11th Ave was lots of fun last week.

its amazing cuz we get this same shitty weather every year & yet those morons forget how to drive it in

i guess i will never figure that one out lol

but yea the city is lazy we are lucky that we get the majors plowed lol. if ya ever wanna have fun go to the old kmart parking lot. just watch out for the curbs & light poles

+1. Just today I saw someone lose traction in their FWD Nissan Altima going around a corner onto 16th Street, and I went around the same corner expecting black ice and I turned just fine, with 100% traction. I don't understand how people in COLORADO don't know how to handle the weather...I'm not even from here and I feel like I can drive better in these conditions than most.

and that K-Mart parking lot is an awesome place to go! I may have to try that out after the next storm we get.
