Sorry for another thread about an accord

Don't wanna get on a honda forum so please bare with me.

My moms front passenger side window button is acting screwy. There are 4 positions. Slightly up will roll the window up when you let go it will sop. If you pull it all the way up it automatically rolls all the way up. Same with down but of course it goes down.

So my moms doesn't do this. Sometimes when i pull the button up all the way it will start to go up then roll down.

Im thinking there is a short in the window thing, 2 wires are crossed somewhere and making contact, my last idea is there is something with the actual switch.

Anyone know what may be the cause.

Usually it'll be the part that gets the most abuse - in this case the switch (assuming the window itself does indeed actually go all the way up and down without issue).

Replace the switch is my vote. Little contacts inside are probably worn/busted/shorted/etc.....
