My last project was a success

This is off forum topic by 2 wheels, but I thought someone might wanna see what I was able to do with my 97 1200 sportster. Initially, the bike was a fail purchase. A lot of Angels and Dirty Dozen dudes used to gimme shit on Poker Runs, rallys, etc about having the girls version of a Harley. It was Turqouise and creme like the old vette two tone back in the day when I first bought it. It also had the ugly tiny peanut tank that every other sporty owner has replaced with the larger big twin tank. The fact that I never wore biker boots, biker jackets or a beard only added to the ridicule and funny comments I used to endure every weeked. However, after a two year process of putting my vision together, I got the last word. Before I eventually sold the bike, I entered it in a bike show/rally in Cave Creek Az that is put on every year by the Angels and some other local biker clubs. Ironically, I won the Sponsor Choice award for that Bike over $100,000 Arlen Ness Big twin entires.
Aside from the good choices in billet mirrors, forward controls, slammed lights etc.. I found a custom built tank from Euro that flowed better with the shorter frame than any other sporster I or anyone else at the time had ever seen. Sporster guy would always try to replace the little tank with a tank from a Big twin and miss. I created the unique front wheel using the stock harley rim and then having a Honda shop put in the Diamond cut twisted spokes I found in the back of a old biker mag. But the best feature and few places I didnt shortcut was on my $2,200 paint scheme. All Black with ghost painted purple pearl flames that turned cobalt blue outlined by the same turquiose color the bikers used to tease me about. At the clubs in Scottsdale, the chicks used to trample all over the Hells Angels Bikes just to get on back of the "preppy guys sportster. LOL If I hadnt of sold it, they were gonna kill me. lmao
As soon as someone tells me why I cant upload any jpegs only 500 x400 90kb Ill show ya the bike.

Because you need to have them on a web based data base first, ie:photo bucket. Than you copy the image code and paste it on here. Would love to see some!
