yellowed headlights


im trying to sell my winter beater which is a 93 crown vic. the headlights are yellowed and i was wondering what i could use on them to make them look a little better

you can buy a headlight restore kit from the auto parts store or I have even seen them at walmart not sure how much they are but there pretty cheap

or use rubbing compound and a powerball or buffer

I bought one for 5 bucks. It works ok by itself but better when you use some wet fine grit sandpaper to buff the bad layers off.

what grit are we calling "fine" like 800 or 3000? thanks for the help

headlights


this is a simple fix, get a buffer and get wax, even the kind you use on your paint and buff the outsides of them, that helps alot, you can take them off and do the inside to, but you have no idea how much even buffing the outside helps
