Who are you hearing it from? And what mechanical issues do they say it has? Any car that's not maintained properly will have mechanical issues,
If I were to say anything about SN95 mustangs, it would be that the interiors are pretty shoddy. Mechanically they're fine.

94
well i have a 94 v6 and didnt have one problem with it untill it hit 175,000 miles....then the ECU fried,heads warped, tranny blew, idler bearing and serpaentine belt took a shit, window wouldnt go up, whole audio system stopped working, paint started fading/chipping rapidly, third brakelight stopped working,wiper went, starter went. but besides that nope no problems lol. and my car was garaged everyday of its life....it did see snow and rain quite a bit thu. its been used as a DD everyday of its life, I recommend a 95 GT or Cobra if you want the 5.0, if nto get a 99-04 IMO
