So yeah...

Dunno how many read in here, but do any of you have ebay coilovers on your cars? No names or imitation types or what?

How long have you had them? do they work well?

I found a set for 50 shipped on ebay, and I might just get them but I'm getting no response about them on HS.

Yeah I know. Power seller since 9-21-01 and all.

They should fit, all suspension parts are interchangable between any civic from 1992-2000.

I'm just worried about trying to install them and my shocks turn to shit in the process. Cheapest 'aftermarket' shocks are 180 shipped.

Well by the time I get around to installing them I might be able to get new shocks. I gotta get my brakes done this weekend, my caliper should be here tomorrow.

I don't trust 'em... when I looked at that, it had a buy it now of $9.99. Something is *very* wrong with adjustable coil-overs that cost less than a set of decent springs, much more when we're talking 1/4th the price. I would expect a set that's not utter crap to be at least $200. Also, do you have to modify your strut casings for these? If so, how? Cut/Weld? If they're utter crap, not only are you out your time and money, but you're looking for new strut casings, too.

On a somewhat related note: don't do adjustable coil-overs if don't have the ability to corner weight the car; well, unless you're just doing it for looks, which I don't think you are.
