I really, really love the body's on the new F150's, something about them with the chrome up front, and the wicked tailgate and the lights, I don't know, just something I want, ya know?

So I've done a tiny bit of research into them and know I want an 09 (or newer) but I doubt I can afford anything newer than that! Got about 5K saved up, and definitely willing to part with my 99 Exploder Sport (with 170k on it!)

Really what I want is a V8 (most likely) and 4 doors. Not looking for a Platinum or Raptor with the huge price tag. I don't really do any towing but it would be nice to have a vehicle that can for the once in a while need. I'll be honest, I don't care about navigation or keyless start stuff...

So, specifically what would you guys recommend me? Year, engine, etc... and how much should I be looking to spend on it, either from dealer or private party.

I know the truck isn't a necessity but it's something that would come in use every now and again for it's purpose.... but I just really want one! Got the bug you know!
