bought another truck, what do you guys think? pics inside

first off, im gonna tell an interesting story about this truck. my father bought the truck as a 2wd and converted it over to a 4x4 in the early 90's. i have alot of memories with this truck, i learned to drive in it when i was about 8 years old

then around 2003 he sold it. i never thought id see it again but fast forward to a couple weeks ago, about 8 years later. im cruisin with a friend and i see the truck, and almost cant believe that its the same truck so we followed the guy and found out that it was for sale so i didnt hesitate to make the purchase!

shes a 1978 f150 with a 2.5" lift and 33" tires. the paint is all original and is 100% rust free. under the hood is a 400 big block with an edelbrock carb, intake, and air cleaner it also has an RV cam.

Nice pick up, makes me wish i kept my 68 f100. Thought the 400m was a small block though

makes a ton of torque tho

I had one just like that, but it was rollin on 35" and it wasn't as nice.Their awesome trucks.

Very nice. My cousin had one like that, except 2wd. It had a 302 and ran like a scalded ape. it was one of the first vehicles, I ever drove. I was only 13 then. I always thought it was the coolest truck.

Nice truck may want to try out FORDification.net - The '73-'79 Ford Pickup Resource I dont go there much but if its as good as the sister site for the bumpsides sure you will find some good info. I'm working on dropping a mod motor and 5 speed in my 69 f-100. Good luck with the truck.

That's just what I was thinking. I've definitely a fan of the white/red paint combo on order Fords. I don't see a lot of brown, but this looks sharp.
