HELP!!! Swapping a 2004 Saleen sc281 into a 2005 F150 4.6l

Posting for a friend.............

"Here is the story. Friend of mine totaled out his 2004 SC281 has 10k miles on it. I want to pull the motor and put it in my f150. The sc281 was a 5sp car my truck is an auto. I want to keep the auto if possible. What issues do you think im am going to have doing this swap? I know i will prob need a tune. but the physical and electrical should be no different Right?"

Try and find an Auto ecu for the saleen engine. However, I don't think that they offer any 'stangs with auto.

I would think the best bet would be to use the truck computer, engine and transmission wiring harness and modify what connectors you will need as you go. Only problem I can figure you would run into is the electrical for the blower like the bypass solenoid which you dont really need to have control over anyway just run a vacuum only line to the bypass.
