Anyone recognize this part?

It fell off my 1999 explorer.

The black is some kind of hard rubber or plastic and a 16mm socket will fit it. It looks like it snapped off at the other end.

^ he is right. Sway bar endlinks...you can get replacement ones at the parts store for about 10-20$

Yeah im getting a sort of clunking sound when I hit bumps so that makes sense. I will get under there and check it out today. Would it be unsafe to drive it until the part comes in?
