ATV ramps for a pickup?

My aunt is gettin my uncle a atv for his 50th and Im pickin up the ramps to get it in the back of the truck. Ive always used a trailer though so im not sure what to get.

I was looking at these, they are fairly wide so it should be easy to load and the shouldnt be too heavy.

My brother bought some aluminum pieces that screw onto a 2x12" board and can set on the edge of the bed of a truck to get his motorcycles in and out, and they work great. They look kind of like this:

Lund Truck Ramp Kit

The benefit is that you can make the ramps any length.

Pretty sure the bed is only 6 ft, its a crew cab, so the length is good. How does the wood hold up over time? And doesnt that get slick when its wet?

Yeah, the wood is slick when its wet, I didn't even think of that. You can always paint it with bed-liner paint or add some texture stuff to rustoleum (I am doing that to my truck soon as a cheap bedliner) Obviously get treated wood and it will last for a while, unless you use a huge hammer to pound it under the wheels of your truck when it gets stuck in the field

The ones you linked will be lighter - 2x12 pieces of wood are heavy!
