Need Some Answers Regarding Wheels on VW GTI
Hey guys I been hunting for wheels for my VW GTI and I can use some feedback The VW forum really sucks, members are rude and never give me valuable info. OK, I'm planning on getting Rims with the following specs.
*17x7.5 center hub bore 73 with an offset of +45mm. *Now, the VW Stock setup for wheels is 35mm offset and the center hub bore is 57.1 *So if im correct I would need 10mm Hub centric spacers to push the rim OUT so it would clear & not rub the strut tower. *Next I would need Centric rings that reduce the rim center bore from 73 down to 57.1 My question is ( Can I use both spacers and centric rings together? or will I have wobble on the wheels? Am I missing something? ) I am buying top quality spacers and rings so I wont be worried about anything cracking. I want to be really sure these rims will fit after the correct modifications
