TurboLX - WTF

Dude the TBird just made it in last nite and of course I had to get a chance to give her a go. Now she wasnt as pretty as I was expecting so I was somewhat sad.

Until. .......

I got in it and cranked it up and gave her a short turn around a corner and this big huge beast was haulin ass . I mean thi scar is huge but that engine was holding it there.

I've still got paperwork to do before I can put it on the street but for now I'm somewhat nervous about putting that seriously strong ass engine into my 2.3L.

I didnt push it and it was trying to run. even tried to burn the tires off and I wasnt trying to.

WOW ... 2.3T Rocks Severely.

yea man, i brought my fathers car to school tues. cuz i missed the bus and it starts out slow but once you hit 2nd gear, it just snaps to life and got sideways, his car scares me, 427hp NO JOKE, especially when my car is gonna have more

Nothing at all .. it's a stock 88 T-Bird and I got a FMIC to go with it

but for now its dusty as hell . fast as hell . and until I get plates on it that car is not moving again.

I think the alternator is shot though. but not sure gotta check it out. I've also ordered a boost contol valve. And I went to go grab my T3 today.

so IHI goes on mustang and T3 goes on T-Bird . and then IHI is replaced with T3/T4.

Odds are I wont be around much longer if I keep driving stuff thats faster than I should be allowed to drive. Maybe you guys should let me know what you want so I can put it in my living will.

get a Holset HX35 or an HY35, best turbo for the 2.3's thats what my father runs

im afraid turbolx has lost his marbles lol

but damn man, if u cant even handle <200hp in a boat like that, i wudnt mod that thing until i got a feel for it

I agree with TurboLX .. and when I kill myself in a turbo'd blaze of 21psi glory .. he can have whats left of that car.

get a feel for it ? why do that when i could run it till I learn it. I mean the weird thing is my 5.0 is fast as hell but it doesnt feel like this. I got used to the V8 and now having a Turbo 2.3 is just a weird but awesome feeling. Mgmt ha already told me if they catch me "practicing" again they are going to fine me. But still at least it was a closed practice area with nothing around.

I hate city life .

well my buddy has a turbo v8 mustang, that thing scares the shit out of me, as soon as you hit the gas your pinned to the seat, and you know when you play a racing game and it gets blury? well its real, the car makes your heart stop for real
