'87 Corvette Brake Problem
My friend was showing off his car, and driving it pretty hard, and when he pulled into the driveway, the brakes lost power.
In park with the car on, I pumped them and they seemed to hold better, but when I tried to move the car, the brakes would only engage when the pedal was all the way at the floor, and they were very weak. The parking brake doesn't work either. There are no leaks under the car, and the brake fluid is at normal level. All help is appreciated. |

do you hear anything that sounds like a vacume leak, and does it have a power brake booster?

Didn't hear anything strange. And not sure about the brake booster.
We let it sit and cool down for a few hours, and it drives fine now. I'm happy that it works, but there's still a problem. What could've happened? Thank you for your help. |
