89' Modified SHO for DD status

My stateside Daily driver is a 89' white(one of 325 made) SHO. This one is low on the options list and pretty light(under 3100lbs). Here are the details.

89' SHO
3.0L Yamaha V6 bored to 3.3L
bumped compression 10.6:1 up from 9.8:1
slightly ported heads
Extrude honed intake runners and ported manifold tanks
40mm secondary butterflies
80mm MAF
catted performance y-pipe
custom 2.5" single exhaust(hidden under bumper)
rebuilt trans with reinforced differential
Spec stage 2 clutch

I have some stage 1 cams on the table and a SCT chip awaiting programming for this application. Also I have 8lb Fidenza flywheel sitting around to help improve throttle response and drop some more dead weight.

I am installing some Wilwood 4 piston ultralights with some 2 piece 13" rotors and some ss braided lines to make sure I can stop when I need to.

Rolling stock will be some 13lb Centerline RPM's in 17x7's with some Pirelli Pzero Rosso's. That should grip well and drop some rototational weight. Might free up some power too.

I will also be looking to drop some dead weight by removing some unneeded crap, pulling some sound deadening, installing some sport bucket seats from Corbeau or Cobra, installing a Momo or sparco steering wheel on a mustang hub adapter and maybe removing the spare tire and jack in favor of a can or 2 of fix a flat with a AAA card in my wallet.

This combo should result in some 30+mpg freeway stints and about 235-260whp for honda and V8 hunting on the way to work. What do you think?

Welded cam gears? You only need to do that on the Gen 3 3.4L V8's. I thought you had a 93? Why soo many trannies hit the dirt? You like doing burnouts? That is why the one in the 89' is a welded reinforced stocker. The diff pin won't let go anymore.
