So my escape is missing constantly a CEL came on and I haven't checked to see what the code is but I'm thinking its either a coil pack or a spark plug any thoughts???
Thanks in advanced for any advice

Do you have a scanner to check the CEL? That could help me a little. Also, have you pulled any of the plugs and checked for any carbon buildup? If you do, be careful as Ford's factory plugs have a habit of snapping in the block in personal experience. I forgot to add, are we talking 4 Cyl or 6 Cyl.

They're bad for coils, gotta pull the upper intake to do the rears if its a 6.

Ok, pull the spark plug on that cylinder. If you have alot of black carbon buildup, it is more than likely that it is a bad coil. Replace them and either clean or replace the spark plugs. I would keep driving the car to a minimum for now as it can lead to more problems driving in that condition.
