Man if its runs strong and your tryin to save wear and tear on your Stang ,$500 is a good deal. As long as the savings of gas is greater than the cost of the vehicle its a good investment as long as you dont have to keep pouring money into it as far as mechanical problems etc.
I see people all the time "I just bought a brand new 4cyl SUV to save on gas"......Im like really ? You just spent $20k on a vehicle plus insurance to save money on gas ? Not much business sense ya know ? Just hide it under a tarp in the backyard, lol jk

stang gets garage eclipse gets driveway...it runs strong tho, its actually owned by a friend of mine so I know its a decent car, at least from a mechanical stand point. its just gonna be my point A to point B beater for the work/school commute commute

the 2g eclipses arent bad cars. its a 4g63 motor and will probably run for as long as you want it to.

Is it stick or auto? The slushbox trans in those cars can be a finickey fucker. The 5sds are great... I've owned both stick and auto 1st gen eclipses. The manual is by far a better investment. Also, watch for electrical grimlens. Both mine were flogged with 'em.
