Turd alert...


So I gots this work truck, and thats all it is, a work truck.
1992 Ranger 2.3 5spd. That thing is a gutless wonder.. If I'm on more than like a 3% uphill grade for more than 1/8 of a mile, I'm downshiftin' ta like 3rd to not drop below 55MPH. Its a POS... Any ideas how I sould squeeze like 10-15 more ponies out of her for cheap???
Its gor new plugs, wires, A/F, F/F, and fresh oil.. Its just fuckin' scary tryin to merge onto an interstate sometimes..

Any help is appreciated...
Oooh oooh... Missouri doesn't have emissions laws, so guttin' the CAT has already been suggested... FYI

That muffler on your intake needs to be replaced with a CAI, 8-9 horses and advance the timing

You wanna be my personal hero for a day or 3 :award and hook me up with a hairdryer for it??? You'd definatly be the cool MOD if ya did that....

You happen to have a CAI for a Ranger layin' around? I'm not gonna spend a lot of $ on this thing. I bought it for a $G. Its solely my work truck...

The timing thing; How can I do that for minimal $ on an EFI engine?
