1992 240sx

ok i'm thinking on buying one.. since they are great project cars.. i'm thinking on a rb25DET(skyline motor) swap could some1 inform me about it.. cause i look but i dont find useful info like prices, parts etc...

I don't know if the RB will fit, but the SR20DET will fit beautifully.

But yeah, make sure you rip that KA24 the hell out of that bay.

The RB is too big, I think the S14 240SX has the space for it though, but its tight.

the swap would be 14ks with labors and parts...

i seen 92 240sx with the r.b.... pretty tigth in the bay... but hey they do enter

Rb engines, Supra enignes, and Domestic V8s all fit, however, the cost to do such and the amunt of time negates the overall desire to do such. sites like 2jzswap.com and jdm motor sites, will give/sell you everything you need or tell you what to get. your best bet would be to buy a S13 240sx, either fastback or sedan (notchback) style. And then invest another 2-3K in buying and importing a front clip from Japan. it will give you ECm, harness, engine, trans, etc. beware, becareful. if you do this, keep me posted. i've always wanted to buy a 240sx and do a jdm s13 conversion (whole body) but still use a SR20.

You're talking about creating a Sil-eighty aren't ya. I think the 240 looks better than the Silvia.

well if you go with the 240...i say get a sr20 since it would be the cheaper route to go and an easier swap

thats what my buddy said. he kept bitching about me even considering a 240, since they are drift cars and all. He says they arent worth shit. hell, i have a vid of a swapped 350 in a 240 and that bitch is bad fukin a$$
