Engine Swap in a 1967 Mustang
Just bought a 1967 mustang without engine and tranny.
It originally had the 289. Can anyone tell me what they would put into my car for an engine and tranny? What engine would fit right in without changing motor mounts? Would a 5.0L engine fit. 351 seems a little heavy and powerful for this little car. Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks and have a good day. Regards, Aaron Faulkner |

A 390 came in the Mustang GT that year is is a very good engine, and the car will run like a scalded ape!
