1969 mercury cougar

anybody know anything about these?

my dads friend knows a guy who needs money real bad and he is selling his for a good price..

it has the hideaway headlights, 351 cleveland, 4v carb, been in storage for over 20 years and has 50k original miles.. if i understood correctly, its only flaw is a nice sized dent in the door, which is no big deal.. it sounds pretty good.. we are going to go look at it tomorrow.. if it is as good as it sounds, what would be a good price to buy it for?

well i mean, i havent seen it or anything, so i coudlnt give you an accurate measurment. But if its drivable and isnt a project car, id offer 4-6kl. BUT THATS JUST ME. DOnt quote me on that, thats just from the description you gave.

aw man, if its in good condition id buy it. Hell, id buy it just for the motor.Not to mention, if you bought it and restored it ( dont know if it needs to be or not), you could ienter it in car shows and make $$ which is always good. And also, if you ever wanted to swap out that 302 for a 351, there ya go!
