HID Bulbs For F-150


okay so my headlights have that very dull yellow at night and I want to change to hid bulbs. What brand and how much let me know quick.

hid bulbs or hid kit ? bulbs are like 30dollars kit is like 150-200

just don't go crazy and get 10000k bulbs.

just pick up some silver stars.

will I have to remove my whole headlight or not what would you recommend hmusn on ks since u said 10000k is to bright

it depends on the truck man.

I don't have to for my f-150 but mine is older.
you would have to take a look.

your bulb is a 9008 I believe

Thanks hmusn Im doing a mod on my interior also but that will be a surprise Ill want your oppion if I should do it in the shelby.

get xenon bulbs there brighter than silver stars which are crap

Do not buy bulbs from your local parts store that claim to be xenon. They are JUNK. Anything with a blue coating will actually diminish your light output. If you don't want to spring for real HID's I'd suggest going with high wattage bulbs and at the same time you should rewire with a thicker gauge and use relays. Once you do this the light output will be much "whiter"
