Hyundai Elantra

We replaced the thermostat in a hyundai elantra and now it wont crank, we plugged everything back in and it still wont crank. it turns over and acts like its gonna crank but it never does.. any questions?

Thermostat has nothing to do with the car running, at all. You must have unplugged a sensor somewhere or otherwise removed something else in the process and forgot to hook it back up.

im with mdvaldosta on this one. your missing something that you have removed and havnt put back on/togeather. or youve damaged something in the proses of your repair.

everything has been hooked back up and nothing is damaged.. and the only thing we had to unhook was the temp sensor..

is it throwing a cel? and your sure there was nothing u could have knocked with an elbow or anything?

which motor? there is a crank sensor directly underneath the upper radiator hose on some elantras......

it must have ran extremely hot..... I haven't seen one do that in a long while.

it didnt run too awful hot but its an aluminum head and it was drove for about 30 miles with the thermo. locked up , on and off driving..
