Truck Again

So yesterday i was playin around in some off road areas out here in the stumps and i took a sharp s turn a lil too fast, well long story short i flew up and landed hard on the rf tire and blew it out, and i had to drive out a few miles, on the flat, to get closer to where i could be found. Now i have a popping noise comin from my right front and i'm thinkin i jacked up a bearing

. Any ideas?

ball joint
bent control arm
bent rim
shock bushings
bearings

they all seem to come to mind.

looks like you have some inspecting to do

Dang it! well if it's the bearing i can do but all else to the shop for warranty, if possible. . . . well it was in the sand out here so i dunno about the rim, i'm gonna get an alignment today and see if that helps anything. but i gotta take teh wheel off to check for the other stuff. . .

taking the wheel off is easy.

just inspect what you can see.

is it gonna be fairly obvious?

if you know anything about suspension it will be.

take both front wheels off and look at the differences and see if that helps.

no but really when is it popping? turning, bumps, just driving?

well i just came back! My alignment was off a lil bit and the popping. well this is kinda embarasing but yesterday after i put the wheel back on it didn't seat right and after i drove it settled and three of the five nuts were loose. . . DOH!!

Believe me i know but i already had a 4wd and i got into too much trouble.

pretty common with aluminum wheels. my buddy had the same thing happen to him twice after he got a new set of rims.
