Wonder if they come from the factory with a H or X Pipe. Also to get a fair comparison you would have to find a F150 and a Ram with the exact same mufflers.

And my truck sounds good by the way

Most people, myself included, will like the sound of a carb'd pushrod V8 better than any other engine. It just sounds right; lumpy idle, that good rumble... The ram isn't carb'd, but it's still pushrod. An OHC motor just doesn't sound as good unless you wind it out, which you don't do in a truck.

my buddies f150 had a built up 5 liter pushrod high output motor in it. 4 barrel 650 edelbrock carb and intake manifold, not sure of the cam and a decent MSD igntion. It would fry the 33 inch tires through second gear.

I have an '04 F-150 and took the muffler off of mine, with the factory cats still on it sounds pretty good.
