Plans for my POS Escort
K so my escort just died on me last friday so i had it towed home. bought a new winter car that night. So i want to put this thing in the 4 cyl derby in the spring. so i had my buddy stop by we tested compression and i suspected there was no compression by the sound its making when it turns over but it had great compression. So i pulled the codes and i got
P1744 Torque convert clutch solenoid circuit performance and P0401 EGR flow insufficient i cant see how either of these would cause it not to fire. i need to check if it has fuel and spark next i didnt have time last night. |
