2010 Camaro vs. 2009 Challenger SRT8 compared by proxy... how will new Mustang do?

there's a virtual comparison of Camaro against the Challenger at http://www.camaro5.com

Wondering why they didn't include the new Mustang in there since it's kinda speculative anyway. Anyways, how do you think the next Mustang would do in that comparison? I'm not really liking either of those cars and would rather just wait a few years for the next gen Mustang.

ford has v6 engines that make 263 horsepower right now in cars so im pretty sure the next mustang will have just as much

yeah.. the power plant for fords new six cylinder mustang is the ecotec 35 if im not mistaken. word has it that we should be expecting the sixer to have close to 350 ponies at the flywheel.. they are currently testing the new ecotec 35 in the ford edge, some new buick car, and another newer model ford

Ford is definately gonna have to step up it game ive read dodge and chevy and gonna be puttin down 400hp at only a few grand more than the current GTs. remember though their numbers are crank and hopefully will be around 350 to the wheels. Plus the will be have my GTs weight in under 3300 most new cars are pushin 4gs so well have to wait and see.

id take that guy with my car and after racing a fully worked ls1 (took him by 2-3 cars) i know that the new camaro with heads cam intake will make my 480 horsepower car look silly.

Yeah, I pretty much just decided I need to save up for a new Camaro..

I don't think ford will match it.. they are upping the v8s to 5.0 but thats about it.. A z28 in the new camaros will probably make a GT500 look silly.
